Burning Passion is an appreciation zine for the character King (Alber) from One Piece!
General
What is a zine?
“Zine” comes from “magazine”, and is currently mostly used for indie or self-made booklets, can be from and for a specific fandom, or not! It’s often a collection of art and/or written pieces.What does each role do?
Page / Spread Artist: creates a full page or two pages illustration
Spot Artist: Creates art to illustrate written pieces
Writer: writes fics, poetry, any written pieces!
Cover Artist: illustrates the cover of the zine
Merch Artist: creates merch to accompany the zine, such as wallpapers, printables…What‘s a check-in?
It’s like a scheduled check-point, where everyone shows where they’re at. It’s to make sure everyone worked on their piece(s)! It’s also a good time for feedbacks.Can I do traditional art?
Yes! But you have to be able to scan your piece in high quality.I forgot/a friend of mine forgot to sign-in, and now it’s close. Can I/they still join?
No, we will only accept people who applied within the application period.Do I keep the rights to my work? Can I sell prints or merch of any piece I made for this zine?
Absolutely! Anything you create is yours to do what you want, exception made for the collab piece! You have to have every participants approval before making money off of it.Do mods monitor my socials?

Contributors requirement:No previous experience required.
Have a Discord account, to be able to join the project server when open. You don’t have to be super active, be stay tuned for updates and informations.
15+ years old, as per Discord TOS (FRANCE)
Know how to use google drive, like uploading, renaming and sharing files.
Read and be aware of the schedule
Read and be aware of the rules and specifications.
Be able to use english for communications (read and understand).

Anyone is free to join, as long as you fill out the application form

General
This will be a free zine, that could be print at home!
The theme of this zine is centered around King/Alber, so your piece must revolve around him, for the main part of the zine.
BUT, there will be a section for the ships (canonxcanon, ocxcanon)
This will be presented as two types of zine, one focus only on King/Alber, and another version with the ship section added.
In addition to the usual zine content, illustrations and fics, print at home merch and digital merch are to be expected!About Page Artists
Page artists are expected to create at least one piece focused on King/Alber only, and if comfortable/willing one shipping (up to three pieces max in total).
The illustrations can either be one single page (vertical format) or spread page (vertical format). This can be either an illustration, a comic/manga style page, journal section style... Any other idea is welcome!
The pieces are expected to be in RGB, fully colored and rendered, with background.About Spot Artists
If you apply only as spot artist, you will be expected to create two pieces of art minimum. The format expected is smaller than page artists, and a bit more free to choose! It can be a header or footer piece if you want.
If you applied for both page artist AND spot artist, you are expected to create at least one piece for each role!
The pieces are expected to be in RGB.About Writers
Writers are expected to create at least one fic, between 2000 and 3000 words!
